The postgraduate gown was introduced to provide better intergration for students coming from Schools that didn't offer their own gowns and to extend the academic dress beyond undergraduate level. More information on the gown can be found here
- The gown is should sit two inches below the knee.
- Black cloth faced with bugundy.
Gowns are non-refundable and are not available for shipping.
How to measure:
- Postgraduate gowns should sit two inches below the knee.
- Measure from nape of neck to two inches below the knee.
- All our gowns are made to a standard width, however we can offer a gown with additional width if required.

If you order a gown we will assume it is for collection in September, if this is not the case, please contact us.
If you order other products with your gown, we will keep these for you to collect in September when you collect your gown.
We aim to dispatch all orders within three working days. If you choose to ship glass or fragile products this is at your discretion. We will do everything we can to ensure the products are protected however we cannot guarantee safe delivery and therefore will not be liable for breakages. Please be aware our couriers do not collect on public holidays therefore this will impact delivery time scales placed during holiday periods.

*If you purchase whisky and wish for it to be shipped, the shipping charge for this is £15.00, if you order other products with your whisky, you will be charged an additional standard shipping charge (£5). We can only ship 2 bottles at a time however, if you require more you will need to pay a further shipping charge.

Collect in store
There is no minimum order value to qualify for collect in-store The service is free for orders from our online shop.
Once you have placed your order, your order will be picked and packaged and available to collect the following day. Any orders placed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, will be ready to collect on the following Tuesday. You will receive an email when your order is ready to collect.
We’ll hold your order in store for 14 days (unless specified otherwise), after which we’ll return the order and refund your account. Please note, the refund may take up to 7 days to process.
