Inside personalisation

Inside personalisation is available on all of our rings and is 1mm high. The positioning of the engraving on the inside cannot be chosen for flat rings while signet rings are engraved at 3 o’clock or 9 o’clock. The maximum number of characters is 10 including any spaces, for example "June 2019" or "JD MA 2019". For smaller rings (L and under) the maximum number of characters is 6 for example "BSc 19".

Outside personalisation

Outside laser engraving personalisation is only available on signet rings on either side of the ring shank and is either 2mm or 2.5mm high. The maximum number of characters available depends on their case, up to 4 capital letters on each side or up to 5 characters if there is a mixture of capital and lower case, for example "2019 MLitt", "OGMD 2019". The size of the engraving cannot be chosen, it is dependent on the size of ring and number of characters requested.

Double personalisation

Signet rings can be personalised on the inside and outside. If you wish for double personalisation please add two charges to your order.

Please be very careful with ring sizing on any orders that include personalisation – if there are any problems and the ring needs to be re-sized then your personalisation will be lost.
